St. Mark’s Medical Center Auxiliary

The women and men who are active Auxiliary volunteer members contribute thousands of service hours annually to the hospital. In addition, the Auxiliary operates a retail gift shop in the lobby of St. Mark’s Medical Center that offers a selection of gift items. Fundraising is another important activity for the members of the Auxiliary. Money raised through various activities goes toward the purchase of new medical equipment and expansion of the hospital.

St. Mark’s Medical Center Auxiliary invites high school students to sign up for the Jr. Volunteer program. A unique volunteer experience that is flexible to the student’s schedule, for holidays, weekends and summer.

This program is designed to introduce area high school students to local healthcare professionals and the wide variety of health careers that they represent. Jr. Volunteers will volunteer in various areas at the hospital per their experience and interest. Jr. Volunteers will become part of the St. Mark’s Medical Center Auxiliary and will follow those bylaws accordingly. Volunteer opportunities will include, clerical work, front desk greeters, floor/patient snacks, swing-bed/visit, computer/data entry/scanning, and imaging/filing x-rays”.
