Foundation
A 501(c)3 charitable organization, the Foundation raises funds to support St. Mark’s Medical Center. The community’s generous contributions were vital to funding the new hospital. The Foundation welcomes tax-deductible gifts to St. Mark’s Medical Center, which will be used to purchase new medical equipment and assist with funding other projects. All contributions are fully tax deductible following IRS guidelines.
Ways to give
St. Mark’s Medical Center welcomes cash gifts and checks, in addition to Visa and MasterCard donations. Pledges in terms of one to three-years with installments scheduled to fit the donor’s wishes can be arranged. Memorial contributions in memory or in honor of a loved one, neighbor or friend can be made in any denomination by cash or check, as well as by Visa or MasterCard. Stocks/securities gifts may entitle the donor to an income tax deduction, thus avoiding capital gains taxes. Gifts-in-kind and gifts of service may be made with the approval of the Foundation. Gifts of undivided interest in real estate can be donated without capital gains taxes levied on the appreciated value of the gift. Bequests through a will or codicil provide a lasting legacy, thereby ensuring the continued maintenance of the hospital facilities and its programs. The Foundation also can be named as a full or partial beneficiary to life insurance, 401K, IRA, individual retirement accounts, etc.
